Summer 2025 Update from Kris & Joni

As summer winds down, we just want to take a moment to say thank you. This season has been full of sunshine, laughter, community, and thanks to you, lots of new memories made. From helping clients step into new chapters to reconnecting with familiar faces, we’re so grateful to be a part of it all.

We’ve also taken some time to soak up Iowa summer, whether it was catching an Iowa Cubs game (fireworks included!), going to the Iowa State Fair (and eating all the good food, of course!) or watching the sky fill with color at the National Balloon Fest. These moments remind us why we love calling Iowa home.

To our current clients, thank you for trusting us. To our past clients, we’re always here when you need us, whether it’s questions about the market, advice on your home, or just catching up. And to our friends and family, thank you for the referrals, encouragement, and love.

Celebrating 4 Years in Business

Four years ago, we took a leap, starting a small real estate business with a big commitment: to help people through one of the most important decisions of their lives.

Since then, we’ve had the honor of helping clients move into and out of Iowa, buy their first homes, sell their family homes, close chapters, and begin new ones. We’ve stood beside people as they said goodbye to the places they grew up in, navigated loss, downsized or upsized, or found the courage to chase something new. Every client, every transaction … it’s personal to us.

Let’s be honest: Running a business isn’t without challenges. The real estate world has changed over the past few years, and 2024 marked a 30-year low for home sales nationwide. We've felt those challenges firsthand. We’ve had to grow, adapt, and dig deep. And we have. Because we’re not in this for the short game, we’re here for the long haul.

We’ve learned more than we ever thought possible, not just about contracts and closings but also about resilience, communication, community, and the value of simply showing up when it counts.

To everyone who’s trusted us with your home, your story, and your next step, we thank you. We are so incredibly grateful to our clients, friends, and family who have trusted, referred, and supported us every step of the way. Your belief is why we get to do what we love, and we don’t take a single moment of it for granted. We’re beyond proud of what we’ve built, and we’re even more excited for what’s ahead.
