Fall is in full swing, and what a season it’s been so far! Kris just completed his first full marathon, 26.2 miles of grit and determination, and we couldn’t be prouder. Between cheering him on and keeping up with the rapidly changing seasons, it’s been a busy, beautiful time of year.
Business has been steady, and we’re so grateful for the clients who continue to trust us to help them buy and sell their homes. This season always reminds us how important “home” truly is, and we look forward to helping even more people find their place before the year wraps up.
This fall also marked Ava’s 9th Annual Blood Drive, and we’re humbled by the continued support from our community. Over the years, 638 units of blood have been collected and 129 first-time donors have rolled up their sleeves in Ava’s honor. Each donation helps save lives, and we’re incredibly thankful to everyone who has shown up year after year.
Through the Living Ava’s Way Foundation, we were also able to complete Ava’s Garden project, donate to the local school food pantry and the Ronald McDonald House. As a family we joined the walk supporting Des Moines Public Schools. It’s an honor to give back in ways that build kindness and community.
Next up, we’ll be handing out candy at the Bondurant Chamber of Commerce Business Safe Trick or Treat, one of our favorite fall traditions.
As we head into the holidays, we’re reflecting on what matters most: health, home, and community. Thank you for being part of ours.
With gratitude,
Joni & Kris Hutchinson
